Chemicals essential for industry
|
Chemicals handle a wide range of commodities, ranging from raw materials to finished products,
including organic chemicals, inorganic chemicals, plastics, fertilizers and fine
chemicals. Our services are Australia wide, and in cooperation with Australian mining
companies, our core exports include mineral sands and industrial salts. The majority of
these commodities go not only to Japan, but also to many other countries in Asia.
Chemicals supply imports to large chemical companies and various other industries. The majority of
these imports are sourced in Japan or from Japanese joint venture companies set up in
Asian countries such as Thailand and Indonesia. These commodities can broadly be
categorised as resins, films and additives for the plastics and packaging industries; raw materials for the adhesives and synthetic rubber industries; agricultural chemicals;
additives for the food industry and various materials used in the pharmaceutical industry.
