Australia Pty Ltd ("MEPAU") is a 100%
affiliated company of Mitsui & Co., Ltd and is playing the role of
regional headquarters of Mitsui’s oil & gas exploration & production
business which covers Australia, New Zealand, PNG and East Timor. Recently,
MEPAU is producing approx 40-50kboepd of oil and gas through 4 producing
fields including Enfield, Vincent and Casino, and the MEPAU portfolio extends
to further 3 on going development projects including Henry gas field as well
as to more than 20 exploration permits laid on Exmouth/Browse basin,
Otway/Sorell basin, Taranaki basin and Great South basin. |

And, MEPAU is
recently ranked 5th largest oil producer in Australia (according to
EnergyQuest data), and it is our intention to seek further growth and
reserves replacement through its exploration as well as potential acquisition
in this region. |
